Page 5 The Tunnel

Shark as seen from the tunnel looking overhead.

Now a stingray. There were only sharks and stingrays located in this tank.

Another shark from the tunnel. We're leaving the tunnel now.

Sea horses as part of some exhibits after leaving the tunnel and back up to the first floor of the second building.

Still on our way up.

Well we made it and now its back to the jungle.

Surface of the second aquarium and another water fall to come.

Pink flamingos located on an island at the base of the second water fall.

The birds food caused the color in the pool of water.

View of a shark swimming above the tunnel.

More birds same area.

More jungle.

Another tunnel shot with a couple of sharks in the upper left hand corner.

A close up of people in the tunnel with a zoom lens. They can not see us up above them.

The second water fall.

From beneath and behind second water fall.

Well thats it folks. I'll post a misc. page of images that were taken as well. I rate the Fort Worth city zoo and the Dallas World Aquarium as the two best sights to see in the North Texas area. There are many other interesting things to see as well but these two are my favorites by far.

View of the water from the water fall from below.
Located on the basement floor of the building.

Close up of the waters impact.

Fish at the bottom of the aquarium.

Manatee in the aquarium under the fall.

More of the aquariums citizens.

I have no idea as to how the rabbit got there. But from here you go to a foyer of assorted tanks with exotic fish and the penguin tank.

See I told you so. Located outside at the back of the building in an enclosed area. Smells like fish too.

FREE WILLY! No wait its just a penguin. From here you go back inside the building and down the hall to the glass tunnel about 30 or 40 feet long that runs under another aquarium. My photographer did not get a picture of the tunnel itself so you'll just have to use your imagination.

Page 3 The First Floor

Entry way into the lower level. Street level.

Pool at the bottom of the water fall.

Big turtle. Fascinating huh. And a veggie eater too!

Fascinated Larina anyway.

Take it easy there Chase lets not get to excited.

Uh a picture of something under water?

Spotted manta ray.

Quack!

Yes another monkey.

A view from the bottom looking up to the ceiling.

We know which way to look for those dive bombers. Silly boys.

Don, Robin, Larina, Chase and Tyler.

Bottom of the water fall. Sorry no close up.

Page 2 Second Floor

I believe the toucan was a part of the entry way to the ticket counter.

There is a bird sitting on a branch near its nest. This is close to the water fall and includes a shot of the building sky light. The entire roof of both buildings is made of this glass. The birds and some of the other animals in the habitat roam freely in it. There is a price to pay for this in the way of bird fallout as some folks discovered. Thank God no flying cows.

Larina's perch for viewing the base of the water fall.

A sloth doing the slow .

Tyler on the right, Chase on the left preforming the required pose and smile routine.

The first three floors of the first building is a tropical rain forest with a temp in the 70's and a humidity at least that high or more.

Another of Larina's "I wanna see" perches.

The base of the falls that Larina liked so much.

Sea otters Tyler, Chase and Larina.

Can You find the monkey?

Yes more monkey.

And then one more monkey before we go down stairs to the third floor.
